Getting to Know Paul Dax

Name: Paul Dax
Title: Senior Art Director

3rd Party Wii-stick®

Tailored Suit & Tie:
Paul graduated in 2002 from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Arts and joined Element’s creative team in December 2007.

When it comes to technology and the rapidly changing advertising landscape, Paul suffers from a touch of Posteriophobia, but tries his best to stay on top.

Ripped Jeans & Cut-Offs:
When Paul isn’t chained to his computer, he enjoys sneaking up on co-worker Troy Foley with dead silence in Call of Duty 4.

In his free time Paul enjoys spending time with his family, his PS3, his Wii, and tormenting his cat Chones. When Paul is tired of playing video games or is unable to locate Chones, you can find him as a setter in the men’s volleyball league at The Bar in Green Bay.

Quoting Paul, Quoting Someone Else:
“Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.” Albert Einstein

Favorite Brands:
Apple, Google and Nintendo.

How to Stalk Paul Online:
You can find Paul on many social networks including Last.fm, Twitter, Delicious, Facebook, Linkedin, Flickr, and his personal blog at Daddysay.com.

What Project Coordinator Sue Says About Paul:
“Still waters run deep.  He’s always got that quiet exterior (at times you don’t even know he’s in the building). But have a challenging project walk in the door and he’s the person to tackle it, cranking out some of the best creative I’ve seen. He tests the limits and sets the bar high.”

As a fellow employee of Paul’s, I’d also like to include this photo is only the second time I’ve seen Paul smile in the last year.

paul is a very nice young man.
He goes the extra mile and uses mostly nice words. My only hope is he hires a writer and stops using my quotes.

Unfortunately I had to pull the photo of me smiling. I have a reputation to protect. Sorry Nikki.

Still waters run deep… except when they’re shallow. How about this. It’s always darkest when there is no light, or when you’re locked in a basement with no lights, chained to a rusty bed being tormented by a killer puppet. Because that’s pretty dark and I hate that when it happens. Puppets are freaky that way.

For a moment there, I thought Posteriophobia was a fear of sitting up straight.
