Element was approached by The Thorp House Inn & Cottages about redesigning their website at www.thorphouseinn.com.

With visitors travelling to The Thorp House year round, it was necessary to give the innkeepers the ability to edit room rates and photos, add upcoming events in the Door County area, and provide links to area attractions without assistance from us.

Our solution was to develop a content management system (CMS) that allows The Thorp House to update all necessary areas of the site. Great detail was paid to the design in order to reflect the feeling of walking into the foyer at the Inn. Ornate textures and old world color palettes are used throughout the site. The framework is built in XHTML and CSS, and Javascript is kept to a minimum to prevent long load times.
