Element Brings New Possibilities to Northeast Wisconsin
Two members of Element’s interactive team recently spent four days in Toronto attending Flash in the Can,
an Adobe Flash seminar showcasing the coolest and newest technology in the industry. From motion graphics to more technical topics, the seminar brought over 500 people together to learn and to be inspired to improve their skills.
Having attended FITC, our interactive department has obtained additional knowledge to create solutions for our clients that no other agency can. In the upcoming months, Element will begin developing custom desktop applications, iPhone applications, and Flash websites that are 100% SEO compatible.
“Every lesson and tutorial provided me with information that I could directly apply to many of our clients’ web-based projects. The problem-solving aspect of what we do will become much more feature-rich, and it’s quickly becoming apparent that we will be limited only by our imaginations,” said Troy Foley, Interactive Director.
The FITC also allowed our team members to connect with developers that they wanted to learn from, and further understand how to emulate their work. Making these connections now allows Element to bring cutting-edge Flash developments to Northeast Wisconsin.
“It’s important to educate ourselves on new international trends and to understand how other people are using the great tools that are available. Overall, the biggest reason I enjoy events like the FITC is to become inspired. It’s also a great way to stay in front of the competition and hear what the experts are saying,” said Ross Atkinson, Web Developer.
