Getting to Know Sue Barrett

Sue has been with Element since the beginning, and has over twenty years of accounting experience and a background in marketing. She loves the people she works with at Element, as long as they clean up after themselves. And a quick word to the wise, Sue has been known to throw away the office toaster if left out for too long. (Element is currently on toaster number three.)

UPDATE: Small Business Award Nears Death

It was a good run, but after 23 days, Element’s business award is nearing the point of no return. After receiving numerous tips, suggestions, and instructional VHS tapes on how to garden, Account Executive Nikki Pribnow was still unable to handle the immense pressure of keeping the centerpiece alive.

Client Returns From Intergalactic Bike Race

For what seemed like months, Jeff Gahnz has finally returned from the worlds first intergalactic bike race. It took Gahnz almost a year to fully prepare himself for this event, meeting all of NASA’s requirements before starting the race in Green Bay, WI. Gahnz, who had been ‘mentally checked out’ from his job weeks prior to the big race, seemed pensive and mentally ready for the challenge.

UPDATE: Small Business Awards

It has been 11 days so far, and the centerpiece is still alive! Though it is not as perky as it once was, and a little less green, there is still hope that a plant can survive in Nikki Pribnow’s office. With fading vital signs, Pribnow thought it would be a good idea if the centerpiece enjoyed a little bit of the outdoors, but the direct sunlight and the sole of Jamie Schroeder’s shoe ultimately had the reverse effect.

Office goes to HuHot, Derek feeds birds

After a long week of servicing clients and accruing parking tickets, Interactive Account Executive Derek Blaszak decides to shun a trip to HuHot in favor of feeding the wild birds outside of the Element conference room.

Ugly Stick’s 2009 Reunion

Ugly Stick will once again make its appearance at Green Bay’s Bayfest this Saturday! Kiar Olson, lead singer (and Element’s director of new media), has been with the classic rock band since its beginning in 1993.

Ugly Stick performs June 13th from 7:00-11:00 p.m. on the Smet WOZZ Stage.

2009 Bronze Anvil Award Winner

Integrys Energy Group recently won a 2009 Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for its employee newsletter, InterChange. Element designed the newsletter template that is now used for this award winning biweekly newsletter.

Centerpiece Won at Small Business Awards

It was a great day for many small businesses at Green Bay’s annual Business Recognition Luncheon, but today’s big winner is Element! Account Executive Nikki Pribnow was the lucky winner of table 44’s beautiful centerpiece.

Building a Strong Community

Today the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Business Recognition Luncheon and Showcase to honor and recognize a variety of local businesses. There were a total of six awards presented, with over 15 companies that were nominated.
