UPDATE: Small Business Awards
It has been 11 days so far, and the centerpiece is still alive! Though it is not as perky as it once was, and a
little less green, there is still hope that a plant can survive in Nikki Pribnow’s office. With fading vital signs, Pribnow thought it would be a good idea if the centerpiece enjoyed a little bit of the outdoors, but the direct sunlight and the sole of Jamie Schroeder’s shoe ultimately had the reverse effect.
When approached after the incident, a nervous looking Schroeder stated, “I stepped on it, so what’s the big deal. It’s not like I created this elaborate plan or something that includes physical harm, over watering, and toxic fertilizer to slowly kill it and make it look like it was Nikki’s fault…eh…have to go, I’ve said too much.”
With a suspicion of foul play, Pribnow has safely put back the centerpiece on top of her file cabinet where it can be under constant surveillance.

I tried “watering” one of my plants with coffee. Needless to say, it didn’t make it.
