400 MPG Earns First Place

We recently helped support the Kimberly High School Supermileage Vehicle team. This year, the team competed at Wisconsin International Speedway in Kaukauna and Road America in Elkhart Lake. And they did great!

Slick Roads Delay Beer Delivery

To Element’s surprise, their weekly Corona delivery was delayed several hours because of a traffic back up and a flat tire around the Claude Allouez Bridge that crosses the Fox River.

The Bike Everyday with Element Routine

As an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle within it employees, Element has recently created the Bike Everyday with Element Routine (BEER), which is an after work bicycling program. The group meets weekdays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and typically covers about six miles each day. Getting to Know a Social Media Expert

Clifford, known as TommyTRC to his Twitter followers, regularly rates as one of the top three Twitterers in Wisconsin and the top 100 in the world. He has more than 15,000 followers on Twitter and has created more than 50,000 tweets – and counting. Clifford’s presence on Twitter escalated to new heights when he tweeted about one of the pivotal events in his family’s life: the birth of his son, Andrew, on May 22, 2009. The resulting followers – from Hong Kong to Los Angeles – and ensuing news coverage even astounded Clifford, a self-professed technology nut.

‘Barley’ Making it Without You

A vital part of our agency has been gone for sometime now. Project Manager Sue Barrett decided that a week vacation was necessary in order to keep her sanity. UPDATE: Small Business Award Nears Death

It was a good run, but after 23 days, Element’s business award is nearing the point of no return. After receiving numerous tips, suggestions, and instructional VHS tapes on how to garden, Account Executive Nikki Pribnow was still unable to handle the immense pressure of keeping the centerpiece alive.

UPDATE: Small Business Awards

It has been 11 days so far, and the centerpiece is still alive! Though it is not as perky as it once was, and a little less green, there is still hope that a plant can survive in Nikki Pribnow’s office. With fading vital signs, Pribnow thought it would be a good idea if the centerpiece enjoyed a little bit of the outdoors, but the direct sunlight and the sole of Jamie Schroeder’s shoe ultimately had the reverse effect.

Ugly Stick’s 2009 Reunion

Ugly Stick performs June 13th from 7:00-11:00 p.m. on the Smet WOZZ Stage.
