You’re a writer like Hemingway, a graphic designer like Saul Bass, and a social media whiz like, well there’s so many… You are tech savvy, a communications expert, and are a Swiss Army knife of copy and design skills.

You understand how to turn ideas and business metrics into effective and exciting social media design. You have an Imitation Game-like memory when it comes to social and paid digital creative specs and a deep understanding of how social platforms leverage advertising. You know how Facebook is used differently than Instagram, Snapchat from TikTok, and have an understanding of how to effectively use these platforms to execute market strategy.

The Lead Digital Advertising Graphic Designer is a strategic marketer who is also a graphic designer and copywriter. This role is the link between creative concept and strategy, working collaboratively with our cross-functional creative and digital teams to ensure that digital ad content, from graphics to copy, meets not just project goals, but also brand standards.

Basically, the Lead Digital Advertising Graphic Designer is the bridge between digital marketing strategy and results, elevating our approach to developing social media ads, banner ads, and digital ad copy to support agile marketing strategies, which rely on fast-moving creative asset optimizations to achieve results.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for producing graphics and copy for paid digital advertising. This includes; social media ads, banner ads and native ads
  • You will be expected to contribute to the creative and artistic direction to other digital projects including social media, email and web graphics
  • You will be responsible for creating digital deliverables for numerous clients in collaboration with the rest of the digital team
  • You will be expected to work closely with our creative team to ensure all design work meets agency and client standards
  • You will be expected to contribute to the complete creative process, from developing creative concepts and writing digital ad copy, to designing social media graphics

Desired Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  • Prefer 2+ years of experience in digital design and copywriting
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in creating graphics and layouts for social media posts, emails and digital ads
  • Experience with B2C and B2B brands
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Suite Programs
  • Must have exceptional design aesthetic and typography skills
  • Must have an understanding of all major social media networks, marketing strategy and digital advertising design
  • You will have a strong digital-forward portfolio showcasing strengths in typography, design and visual storytelling
  • You must be organized, flexible and able to build strong relationships with staff across the agency
