GLK, the nation’s largest producer of sauerkraut, wanted to increase product penetration to a broader audience. Element developed a campaign that encouraged people to “Change Your Krautlook” and consider sauerkraut as a recipe ingredient as well as a topping. To get sauerkraut used in more restaurant dishes, Element created a restaurant chains “taste profile” program that included developing unique menu items. These chains were targeted directly with a demand generation strategy, marrying sales and marketing for a very effective one-two punch!
