The Resource Manager is the hub of our operation. You’ll guide every project from kickoff to completion—opening jobs, building schedules, coordinating workflow, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. When timelines shift (and they will), you’ll see the big picture, make smart decisions fast, and keep the team aligned and energized. Simply put: you’ll help create seriously happy clients and a seriously happy team.
Reports to Business Operations Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Process incoming project requests and open jobs and campaigns, setting schedules to reflect appropriate budgets and timelines.
- Prioritize work based on deadlines to maintain a steady, manageable flow.
- Collaborate with department leaders to assign projects based on workload, timing, and skill set.
- Manage schedules to optimize the agency’s talent and keep work flowing efficiently.
- Navigate rush jobs with calm confidence—alerting the right people and reshuffling schedules as needed.
- Communicate frequently with account services on the status of all active work.
- Flag missing information or materials and notify account leads.
- Report quality, budget, or timing concerns before they become issues.
- Spot workflow bottlenecks and remove obstacles to keep projects moving.
- Maintain a strong bench of freelancers and build relationships for ongoing support.
- Gather quotes from freelancers, suppliers, and vendors; select partners based on scope, quality, and budget.
- Work directly with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate invoicing.
- Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency across the agency.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years in traffic management, project management, or a similar role.
- Agency experience? Big bonus.
- Familiarity with workflow or project management platforms—Workamajig experience is a plus.
